Depends on how you define role player. If “role player” means “not a max contract” then the easy answer is Aaron Gordon.

if “role player” means someone who wasn’t a full-time starter but made meaningful contributions as a sometimes starter, sometimes 6th man, I’m torn between Nene and Bruce Brown. I give the nod to Nene for longevity in that role.

Obviously Facundo Campazzo not even worth questioning. For real though probably Aaron Gordon but that depends on your definition of role player

pretty unclear on the definition of “role player,” but in any case gimme Aaron Gordon. Limited role, fulfills it admirably. NBA Champion.

Andre Miller was never the main guy but he had craftiness, basketball IQ, ability to facilitate, and contributed to the team in a variety of ways. If we factor in longevity with the team (7 seasons) I say he deserves to be in the mix. Although I’d say AG is the best choice overall for obvious reasons.

Damn Murray not on this grid at all? We should trade his ass

AG is an all-star caliber player in a log-jammed league with too many stars for all-star spots. KCP is a role player and was key to the first championship.

Don’t have a ton of exposure to his game, but I feel like Bobby Jones was about as impactful of a tertiary scorer as possible.

The Nuggets have been in the NBA since 1976 yet some how most of the franchise best players have worn the jersey the last two years? I don’t think so. Many of you need a history lesson. As a long time nugget fan I know that many other players deserve recognition. They made the Conference Finals in 78, 85, 09. I watched all those teams and the terrible teams in the 90s. Where were you?
Yes, we were blessed with a recent NBA championship. I guess that explains all the bandwagon fans.

Dan Issel was selected as the SECOND best post player in team history, with Melo as a close third!
