Lakers predicted to finish 44-38 and 11th in the West. Thoughts?
If the standings are this close towards the end of the year (2-3 games), I still trust Bron and AD to at least find a way to get to 7 or 8. We’ll see if the team will be consistent enough for a top 6 seed though.
Lol the warriors above the lakers? The warriors will be a borderline lottery team again

Anything can happen when we rely on two players being healthy, one being 40 and the other missing some time here and there. This team isn’t a Boston or a Spo coached Miami team. We need all hands on deck for most of the season and a dash of luck.

Thunder- yes
Wolves- more
Mavs- yes
Nuggets-less
Suns- probably less
Kings- whatever 7-9 is
Pelicans- less
Grizz- way more
Rockets-less
Lakers- 51 healthy book it!

West is no joke, and many teams in the league have improved.
Lakers have also improved IMO. They are starting out healthy, and If JJ is better than Ham, that’s a big plus. He can’t be worse lol.

Here’s betting Ja Morant will sit out most of the season again for one reason or another

If Bron and Davis get injured often this season and the team barely make a playoff, it’s time to rethink the team model.

Classic ESPN narrative so they can have a reason to talk about the lakers everyday and overreact to every L/W

We’ll be lucky to finish in the top 10

They just knew this would get a rise out of the fanbase lol
We literally won 47 games last season with the worst bench ever and still made the play in.
CockroachForeign6419
We barely made the play ins last year with Bron and AD playing 70+ games, and Now we’re running back the exact same team and Bron and AD both played a lot of minutes in the Olympics. If either of them miss a good amount of time I wouldn’t be surprised if we dropped out the play ins.

The best players in the world had to got carried or bodied by lebron this summer, with no small effort from AD. Get this disrespectful shit outta here!

Well we haven’t made any changes to upgrade our roster. Realistically we’ll be another play-in team finishing anywhere 7-10th seed.

Lakers will finish between 6-8

It makes sense when the team relies on 2 players and has a lacklustre supporting cast. They could definitely win more though or could definitely win less I think they may have the highest swing capability in the league.
I think what’s really crazy is that The Grizzlies are predicted to only win 44. I think they will probably be a 50 win team.
BucketsAndBattles
I think the Lakers will be more like 6-7 (barring injuries) and 46-48 wins. But this does illustrate how crazy the west is going to be this year. A 44 win season isn’t bad at alll and you’ll be lucky to even make the play-in with that
