This is probably an unpopular opinion but he really shouldn’t win it. He majorly improved post all star break. He was also a generational consensus 1st overall pick. His growth is expected. I say leave this award for the guys jumping from the end of the bench to becoming starters and rotational players. This could factor into them getting a better contract but it doesn’t move anything at all for Vic.
