This one is tough. But I’m going S. Dot. dude brought so much stability to our second unit during those runs.

Just the complete package.

Andre Iguodala gets my vote for best role player.
OrdinaryAverageGuy99
Going old school with Clifford Ray.
Rick Barry credits him with being the glue guy for the ‘75 championship. Great undersized center on the last great Warriors team pre-Steph.

Iggy, idk another role played with a mvp

Draymond. Without Draymond, we are never who we are. Draymond is the definition of a star in his role. My man should’ve won best passer too imo
Edit: dudes below arguing Draymond is too good to be a role player… Iggy has a finals MVP? If Draymond is too good to be a role player, then Iggy is too, right?
It’s definitely one of those two guys though

Draymond is a star/role player hybrid, but I think he deserves it. He rarely fills up a stat sheet with eye-popping numbers, but he does so many little winning things every game. He’ll fill whatever role is needed of him, game to game.

It’s Iguodala, but I gotta show some love to GPII. When he’s healthy, dude is like a cheat code off the bench. Comes in, defends, dunks, and hits threes at a respectable clip. Basically plays center in some lineups. His pact numbers were absurd during our best post-KD stretch.

Šarūnas Marčiulionis. His role to quickly get 8 pts when Run TMC were flat or needed a break.

Shaun Livingston.
Iguodaka wasn’t a role player. He was very specifically used as a 6th man D specialist. S.dot fits that term a lot better.

Mo Speights gets nowhere near enough love considering the 20 Livingston nominations. He should at least be mentioned.

Kevon Looney: Multiple rings, 20 rebound games in the playoffs, consecutive games played streak, all around selfless hustler and contributor.
