Disclaimer: this is just a simulation and won’t be that accurate.
However I won’t be surprised if some of these predictions become true. We finish first seed with 63 wins in the sim. Whilst this is hard in the west, we basically finished with 50-53 wins (if we weren’t locked into 5th seed could’ve got 53).
This was with injuries and before the trade deadline our record was 29-23. Now with additional pieces and Klay on our team replacing a 35% shooter who was one of the worst defenders in the nba. I don’t doubt we can get to around 60 wins.
If we get around 60 wins I see Luka winning MVP. I see Celtics being still good but not as good as some of their key pieces age and KP has a 6 month recovery time on his injury. We all know how long he takes to recover. With east being better than last year they may become worn out by the time they reach the finals.
I am biased but I do think we have a great shot at a chip this season and great regular season record.
