Six years later, has LeBron done enough to be considered top 5 in Lakers history…

    No he’s not I love what Bron has done for us but 1 ring is not putting him in the top 5 Laker greats of all time. If this was the top 3 best player to ever player for the Lakers then that’s completely different.

    If we’re counting what he’s done in a Laker uniform…probably not, no. He’s, at worst, a top 3 player of all time…so career wise, sure.

    There’s only 8 players who have won a Finals MVP for the Lakers though, and he’s one of them.

    It’s simply the fact he won’t have had a very long career here

    To me it’s West/Kobe/Magic/Worthy/Kareem in terms of our all time lineup

    It’s going to be near impossible for any player, not just LeBron, to crack the top 5 Lakers. Shaq, Kobe, Magic, Kareem and West have accomplished way too much as a Laker.

    Lebron is my second favorite player of all time, behind Kobe obviously but he’s not a top 5 Laker. Top 10? Sure he’s won us a title and finals mvp. And broke the scoring record as a Laker

    Nope, I am not a Laker fan, but this one is not yet, if both AD and Bron won another ring, for sure can, also at least AD will rank Above Pau, if they won one ring as a Laker.

    DLO more impactful. DLO will retire top 5 in lakers history. Don’t have to believe me now but it’s destined to happened.

    Not yet in the top 5 as a Laker but he’s the best player to ever don a Lakers jersey.

    It all depends on your criteria for these things. Personally, I get more feelings of pride on hearing and reflecting on the likes of Derek Fisher, Pau Gasol, James Worthy, Michael Cooper, AC green, etc. just a bunch of lifers and straight dogs that helped us grind through many finals / chips runs and get overlooked a lot of the time.

    Nope. 1 Championship ring is not going cut it far as being Top 5 Laker Great. If he wins another ring then we can have that conversation
