White Chocolate takes the best passer category. Who is the best perimeter defender in Heat history?

I will be posting the Top 5 “Best Passers” in the comments. The “Best Perimeter Defender” will be chosen based on total upvotes across all comments.

My vote for Best Perimeter Defender has to go to Lebron James. Was robbed of DPOY too many times while he was with us.

    1. JWill
    2. Lebron
    3. Wade
    4. Tim Hardaway
    5. Bosh

Bron, that lockdown d played on rose in the 2011 ecf is seared into my memory

LeBron. He could decide you weren’t going to score & there was nothing you could do about it.

Bruce Bowen, he was a blink and you forget he played here guy but he played some nasty D in his day.

  6. I’m going with LeBron. Heat LeBron was peak defense. Dwyane Wade gets a shout too. Bam is the most versatile defender we have, but perimeter alone, I’m going LeBron

It’s Jimmy. However It could’ve been Lebron or wade due to their elite help defense and ability to hunt passing lanes. But jimmy has better overall defence compared to them.

Bam Adebayo. He has the athleticism, measurements and fundamentals. It’s not his primary job but I think he isn’t the best one in that aspect.

How about Bruce Bowen for perimeter defender? If we only look at guys who were with Miami for awhile I’ll just vote for Bam since he’s a great perimeter defender as well.

As a member of the Heat. I’m tempted to say Shane Battier
