Objectively right now, Rudy is better. Can't lie, BUT Lively potential is higher than Rudy, which Rudy did get outplayed by a Livey who's rookie in the WCF, and anyone who denies that is a hater or Rudy Stan.
It's a damn shame Rudy never developed any kind of offense. That's honestly embarrassing. He can't even consistently catch lobs, and he's a center 💀
If you're wondering, Rudy averaged 34 minutes in the Conf Finals against the Mavs (about his average for the season). He played 26 minutes in Game 5.
Lively averaged 27 minutes (over the three games he was healthy). Scored 11 ppg and 9 rpg.

Not a good idea to talk crap about a multi time DPOY. From a rookie that had a good but not great year. Out play him yourself not Luka out play him. We saying he not very good on D and we got Luka getting smoked on D on every ISO. Rudy or Liv?? Right now it's not even close give Liv 3 more years and even sniff DPOY and I'll even think it's worth talking about. Without Liv having Luka as a lob passer Liv is basically non playable on the O side. Poor freethrow shooter, no moves with back to basket, no jump shot, no handle, no moves to create his on shot. He is 3 years min away before even close to being All Star. Only thing he has over Rudy is he is younger right now. Can he get there, possibly will he ever be a multiple DPOY and All Star? Time will tell but he is not there right now. Liv, let your game do the talking not your mouth.

Bro Dereck Lively was not throwing any shade to Rudy Gobert if you watch the whole clip. He was saying in reality he shouldn’t have been on the floor because of matchup reasons but, since the NBA is a business and he gets paid 40mil a year he have to be out there on the floor no matter what.
