Lets face it…Camden is practically
in a hypothetical senseEast Philly. With how much the region is growing, expansion into Camden is necessary. On top of the tax breaks, it would be built on the riverfront with an amazing view. I'd much rather ride patco, the ferry, or ride my bike across the BFB, then deal with the south broad I95 sports complex headache. The former prison site is super close to CC and 76HQ. Love the vibes on the Camden plan.People already go to Jersey for the aquarium, concerts, and the beach. I was born in SWP and raised in Camden County and lived off South Broad for years, especially for the 08 WFC Phillies. So I understand both concepts from a unique standpoint.
I now live in St Petersburg, FL which is home to MLBs (Devil)Rays. People from Tampa drive 11 miles on the Howard Frankland span over the Tampa Bay for baseball games and the beach. Vice versa for those in Pinellas County to see NHL and NFL games, and major touring concerts.
If the 76ers move to Camden, South Jersey fans for once wouldn't have to pay the toll. The benefits for the city of Camden would be astronomical. If this was strictly a business decision for any other major company say..Subaru…its a no-brainer.
Also, FYI.. the BFB is only 1.8 miles over the Delaware River. Just sayin..
If they move they lost a fan. I think most people's unwavering loyalty for them came from them being the home team and if they move they really wouldn't be that anymore so I don't think they're only going to lose me but probably a lot of others

Why disrupt the homeostasis of Chinatown and Center City? It would have a profound impact on the economy of Camden. And the Sixers organization would get a huge tax advantage. The only people that should be mad are the NJ tax payers who are funding the building.
