Breaking up this team for the talents of KD, Kyrie and eventually Harden was not the crime. That’s the goal… Of any GM, to get talent like that.

The crime was the BS all three of them brought here (more so just Kyrie).

That was a very fun team but breaking it up for KD and Kyrie was a no brainer.

That D’lo led team’s absolute ceiling was a second round exit. Getting KD and Kyrie and eventually Harden made them firm championship favourites and could have been a potential dynasty, or at least perennial contenders for many years.

But KD, Kyrie and Harden had a bunch of unforeseeable and strange drama that was largely due to Covid and other stuff. It didn’t work out but it was undoutedly worth it for the Nets to take the chance.

this team had a woman choker on it and got stomped in the playoffs by Ben Simmons

    1) That team was not going anywhere and if it was EVER reported that they passed on signing Kyrie and KD, fans would have nuked Brooklyn

    2) There’s a nonzero chance the Harden trade saved LeVert’s life as they found a growth in the physical early enough to be treated.

I’d rather have KD and Kyrie than some cheerleaders who can’t dance tbh.

    Glass ceiling team

You gotta go back and actually watch that team play and not look at the stat line

  7. gdk_dinkleberg

We were a shoe size away from winning a ring and a harden hamstring injury away from a dynasty yeah I’ll take KD and kyrie every time

  8. yourlilpissboi

future superstar all nba spencer dinwiddie deserved better.

  9. TuqiDuque12

The KD team won one playoffs series, that’s more then that team would’ve won in 10 years

  10. bartolomeudebraganca

Every GM dreams of the day they’ll be able to add the kind of talent KD and Kyrie bring to a team. 30/30 GMs would do that. The crime here is the long off-season that has you have this thoughts

I’m confused why people in the sub are blaming KD for anything that happened in BK lmao. “Inability to lead” you mean making a grown man take a vaccine he didn’t want to?

  12. WrongMomo

Yeah breaking up a team led by Dlo is a crime..

  13. At least Rondae is the Kobe of Jordan now 😂😂🔥

  14. No_Tip8620

The criming started when Brooklyn fired their coach because he preferred to start the superior Jarrett Allen over the washed up friend of the stars in DeAndre Jordan.

  15. matthitsthetrails

There was too big of an influx of $ for tsai to keep that team together. They were star chasing no matter what. In hindsight Allen was a keeper but the rest?

The last one was 95% choke or 5% hail mary, and hail mary showed up!

  17. FairStranger11

They march to the finals if injuries weren’t so brutal during the 2021 season, so it’s a wash

  18. SportsBettingRef

I was ready to argue hardly against it, but you was never so correct. shame on you Marks.

ITT: nephews that aren’t welcome at parties.

  20. StoneColdAM

Should’ve swapped Kyrie for Harden. Kyrie was not committed even before covid. Going for a risky big 3 is what ruined Brooklyn.

  21. throwawayyrofl

NOT breaking up this team for KD and Kyrie would’ve been a crime

  22. Breaking up squeezing in to the playoffs and getting swept tesm should be a crime? Why?
