It’s not a huge deal for him to do this, but it’s definitely gonna build more respect with the vets and the younger players on the team.

So the longest tenured spur has to change the number he earned and worked for to give 3 to a man who’s probably gonna be there for only a year? Love keldon or hate him the man has been with the team far longer than anyone. He’s not a superstar like wemby but he’s been the fan favorite for the longest until wemby.

I think Keldon will be with the Spurs long term even if he doesn’t fit as well. He’s too selfless as a person. He does everything they ask him to do.
The weight loss is just phase one, phase 2 is improving his ball handling. That would make him a much more lethal slasher.
