Curry is going to break his own record
Absolutely Loon needs to shoot the ball more. TJD also. It's not about anything other than being less of a liability on offense. Loon is probably not a bad shooter. Not saying he is great, but he has been programmed to pass up shots b/c of the Steph, Klay, Durant era. Now he needs to shoot just to make the defense a little more honest. The same applies to TJD. If TJD doesn't develop a 3-point shot then his ceiling is significantly lower. This year Loon and TJD need to take wide open 3s. Can't have opposing defenses ignoring our centers. You can pick and roll of course but that doesn't stretch the defense. Not asking these guys to shoot 40% but at least 33%. If they can do that we might get some action.
You can look at what I've said on this channel for the past two months and know where I stand with the Warriors. As long as the Warriors have a healthy Curry (and Dray staying on the court), you can't count out the Warriors. I think the championship window is still there, like Poole in 2021-22 did, one of the youth will have to step up and take that next step to help Curry. They don't need a Lauri or a Paul George. They need their rookies to step up. Now that Thompson is gone, more minutes are going to their young core to step up this season. They have no excuse. I think they can compete with the best in the West. Curry is that good. Been saying that for months on this channel and that opinion has not changed.
