    Zach LaVine Appreciation thread/end

  2. I think Ant has the best traditional and untraditional athleticism. He can jump out of the gym, but he can also stop on a dime like James Harden, and is very strong for his size.

    That Gobert pic tho 😳😳😳😳😳

Lavine or ANT. I can’t make a call, I’d say Lavine just because ANT already has two

It’s KG, though I respect any Ant answers too

  6. JJKingwolf

Ant and then Lavine.  Lavine had the best hops, but Ant has the best all around athleticism.

Ant. Stanley Roberts or Stojko for runners up.

  8. LivinForThaCity

Ant. LaVine is not getting up there to block shots like Ant.

KG!!! Could play and guard all 5 positions.

I used to do between the legs dunks with Ricky Davis on Live 06 or something like that for ps2 back in the day. I’d say that’s all the evidence we need here.

Kevin Garnett is a freak athlete. He didn’t get credit because he was tall, but he was incredibly athletic.

    Oliver Miller

He’s so athletic he was able to move that massive frame up and down the court

It’s gotta be Ant. His athleticism is so well rounded and multifaceted. Strength, lateral quickness, stamina, vertical leap, burst. Way better than some other players who boil down to “man can jump high”.

  14. Kevin Garnett

While Ant and LaVine are fantastic athletes. So was KG. But KG was 7 foot. Which should be a factor. To be as agile as he was at his size. And wiry strength. And endurance. It’s a rare combo.

There has certainly been lots of impressive athletes on our roster. Lavine can jump higher than I’ve ever seen. Wiggins’ athleticism is what made his “wasted potential” so disappointing.

I think when considering athleticism in basketball we should ask ourselves, “Who can/could do it all and do it all well?”

For me it comes down to Ant and KG. The latter has proven his superior skills over and over while the former is still working his way up.

So for now my vote is KG, but it wouldn’t surprise me if Ant surpassed him in the future.

Ant, JR and KG. Lavine and Wiggins are also crazy athletic.

KG really only gonna be on this once or twice!

It’s Kevin Garnett. He could guard 1-5
