He’s entering his age 31 season and has never beaten a good team in the playoffs his entire career.
With his injury history, time is running out for him to change the narrative/truth that he’s a historical playoff choker
Space66Mannn
He’s not wrong but I think a lot of it has to come off the court. He has so much talent. Just needs to actually focus on the game.

lol what does luka have to prove. this guy was hobbling. maybe if his running mate didn’t have ptsd with the leprechaun the finals would’ve been more competitive.

“Most to prove” conversations are one of my least favorite. Like what does it even mean most of the time lol. I get it in this case cause Grizzlies had their injuries/suspensions, but other than that it’s just a lot of posturing and doing the thing where we purposely make individuals responsible for team accomplishments.
Players who haven’t played well in the playoffs have the most to prove. Prove that you can play well lol

Don’t know why Zion Williamson hasn’t been mentioned yet, he’s obviously in the top 5
commandrr
Embiid
SGA
Paul George

Yeah that’s a fine take

Ja is a good answer from a marketing perspective. Nike really positioned him to be the next face of the league and he fumbled it hard. Now Ant has his spot and it’s up to him to earn that back
Rikter14
This is an alright take by a talking head. If Ja has a good year and Memphis has a good year it’ll go a long way to putting his past behind him. I know people wanna get mad about how it’s ‘obviously Embiid’ or whatever but this is an interesting storyline too.

I forgot about Ja

If Embiid doesn’t win a championship, he goes down as a Barkley or a Ewing. If Ja doesn’t have a big season he’s on a path to be a Steve Francis.

It’s Tatum

Not a bad answer. Morant has only had a few good years and can easily get left behind in terms of coverage, fanfare etc if he doesn’t pop off this season. Then if he starts losing the whistle superstars get it good hinder his career big time.
Luka low key has something to prove too. He got exposed in the finals and if he doesn’t improve his defense or continue to elevate his team offense even higher the noise isn’t going to stop until he does.
Zion needs to prove he can sustain his health for the season and playoffs.
Those are my top 3.
Embiid is what he is in my opinion he’s already proven he can’t carry a team far.
AnnaAlways87
Embiid is going to have the second best roster around him that he’s ever had.
But the East’s top is the best it’s been in 15 years and getting better.
If Philly can’t make it to the ECF this year then I don’t think they ever will with Embiid.
erm1zo
The only thing he has to prove is that he can behave semi-responsibly like the other 450 players in the NBA.

Prove to who? Espn? Fans? 🤣

As a Bucks fan, it’s Dame. He’s supposed to be a top 75 player OF ALL TIME. Show me why.

I don’t believe Ja can take that next big leap. I think he plateaued like Trae Young.

Ja actually needs to play

Confident_Comedian82
I think he needs to prove a lot on his Shooting, I know guys, he practice it for awhile now since the incident, but Shooting is needed for him to improve. that’s what I learned when he played against the Lakers

Ja’s already proven. We’re all just eager to see if he can return to his high level of play, and help his team win playoff games
