1-3 series, Nuggets build a 12 point lead in the 4th after trailing all game.
We start choking the lead, clippers have all the momentum and the lead is down to 2 points with 1:20 left.
If the Nuggets don’t win this series (Clippers were the MASSIVE betting market favorite to win the title all year), especially if they lose in 5, does the front office have the faith to keep the team together during the Jamal/MPJ injuries? Do they go all in for AG if they don’t have evidence of beating a strong title contender in the playoffs? I don’t believe so.
This is the game after MPJ said the offense needs to be more diversified (he was and still is right). During what was essentially his rookie season, Mike pulling this shot and hitting it is still one of my favorite moments of the Jokic era. Mason Plumlee yelling “BIG BALLS” at him after is an understatement. If he missed this, probably gets permanently benched for the rest of the playoffs.
Look at Murray and Jok reactions when he put that up LMAO, Nikola looks in shock. Beverly and the Clippers bench getting pissed is the cherry on top
Murray and Jokic both freezing as the shot goes up will never not be funny

Sub keeps talking about young guys taking a leap, like CB, Pwat or Strawther. Yes they’re going to be good but forget MPJ has the most potential to be the #2 option, if not #1 option for the future.
MichaelPorterTruther has truthed again.

The championship was amazing and I love it. But my favorite playoff experience was the back to back 3-1 comebacks. Holy hell what a roller coaster that was. I remember how deflated I was watching us get romped by the Jazz. Watching Murray and Mitchell battle it out was electric. Then we came back just to immediately be deflated by the Clippers. Morris starting shit with Milsap causing him to go God mode and bring us back in game 5 was also so badass. F the Lakers for ending that for me.

He’s growing as a player every year. Some players do. He was much more assertive around the basket last year than ever before. I bet there is more to come, for a few more years. He needed time to get more comfortable with his back recovery.
