The Game 2 offense during the Celtics in last years playoffs is something that Spo has been trying to work on with Herro and Bam for a couple years now. It has had its moments but he has never really stuck with it for an entire game because he had Butler.
I guess I should first explain what I mean by the "Game 2 offense". This mainly entails putting the ball in your lead guards hands and allowing the offense to truly run through them. He did this for 2 year with Lowry, in 2022 they had the best record in the east (Herro won the 6th man) and in 2023 they went away from it during the season but went back to it in the playoffs after Herro's injury and made it to the finals.
That Game 2 performance at lease shows that Herro is capable of being the offensive facilitator the offense needs. Now of course the Celtics where able to figure this out by trapping Herro harder and clogging the paint but that will be harder to do with a healthy Butler and Bam willing to take 3s. Also by running this offense with with either Herro or Rozier starting, the other one can come off the bench and run the second unit. Also by now means am I saying Herro or Rozier are as capable lead guards as Lowry but they have shown the ability to be above avg in that role.
The two major advantages of doing of this offensive approach would be to keep Herro and Butler healthier. Butler's game is about physicality and cutting, by running the offense through the PG ( Herro and Rozier ) it will allow Butler to cut more and bang less. Also with Butler and JJJ in a starting line up with say Herro, Bam and Jovic, their will be a lot of space to cut and the defense will not be able to key in on Butler. Also by being more of a facilitator and opportune scorer, it should lessen the banging in the paint on Herro as well. Herro's scoring may drop but his assist should increase while Jovic and JJJ would get more scoring opportunity.
Finally running this type of offense, which is more traditional, would allow Ware to play in a similar manner he played in college and the summer league because it will be more high pick and roles or pick and pops. This would maximize his development opportunities. Also being able to play 6'5 Herro, 6'7 Butler, 6'6 JJJ , 6'11 Jovic with 6'10 Bam would give the Heat good size at every position.

Best Championship Ring engraving ever
Just score more points than the other team. Genius!
Hot take: If the Miami Heat beat every team 111-101 they should win the championship
Man if we had a nice offense I would just cry
we won game 2 because of absurd shooting variance that went in our favor. That isn’t replicable.
