That’s why I’ve been saying why do we consider him a power forward? I think he would thrive at small forward! Put him in the Bruce Bowen roll but with shades of Rodman

I really wish I'm totally wrong about this, but watching a bunch of games these last 2 seasons, I feel like everytime the guy Sochan is guarding REALLY needs a basket, it doesn't look that hard to score on him. Most of the times in these situations, he seems to be one or two steps behind. (I don't mean it physically, but his defense IQ).
These stats might be a bit unrealistic to prove how much of a good defender Sochan really is, considering how many of those games were blowouts.
It seems to me that Sochan is always giving his best at defense (which is awesome), but a lot of times its in a blowout situation, or the other team "knows" that they can win whenever they want, so they are not always giving 100% at offense.
I know it's only year 2 for him, and that he's in a perfect spot to grow his defensive IQ. I feel like CP3 might be a great on the court vet and leader and can give him a lot of great tips.
I'm absolutely rooting for Sochan and my Spurs, but I need to see more from him this season to increase my faith in him such as you do 😂😂

If Sochan is an elite, versatile defender, that's something that he can bring to every single game where he's healthy. That has a lot of value in the NBA and will keep him employed for many years. Whatever offensive skills he develops will be a bonus.

Sochan has solid potential still and is very young it’s not unreasonable to be excited about what he could be. I think after you made that video saying he will be better than Jalen Williams it was a bit much tho and turned some people off
Wemby got us a lot.. and I mean a looooooooot of bandwagons that only watch YT highlights and TikToks. 2-3 of them went viral early in the year of Jeremy missing a pass to Wemby and thats what started this hate-sheep army.
Thats it. The real fanbase loves Jeremy and values him, as they should. He's our Draymond. The heart and motor of this team and this dude is vital to our future.
I've written this before and I'm writing this now – Anyone who says Jeremy is trash, probably knows more about the basket than Pop.
If he is really that good on defense then why Spurs are still one of the worst defensive team in the NBA despite playing with Wemby? Those defensive stats have a lot of context

Sochan is a great defender for at least 3 positions. SF, SG, some guards and some PF. That is his role. Once he starts hitting more 3’s, some will change their minds

I really like Sochan. Spurs fans need to chill, because Sochan and even guys like Branham and Wesley are barely 21 years old. Give them time to develop. Spurs signed these dudes at age 19.

i cant remember where i saw it but one game sochan played against luka this season he made luka have his worst statistical game in 5 years. the eye test matches too.
