Favorites to come out of the West and probably even odds with Boston in the finals

  2. Special-Two5022

    2014-15 season he avg.

    30 points
    11 boards
    8 assists

On 48% FG and 35% 3pt, which is serviceable.

    Finished 3rd in MVP

If he got to the Finals that year with David Blatt, but Kyrie and Love got hurt in that series, and assuming AD stays healthy, they probably could have gotten to the Finals and beat Boston. But Darvin Ham may have gotten in the way of them winning fr.

If lebron was any younger, we would have won the past 2 years

Dear Lord, I would fucking kill to have 2014 LeBron on the team rn

Bruh 2021 Bron would make us instant favorites. 2014?! Dynasty

Lebron is still playing at a top 10 player level. Upgrading him to the best in the league level would help tremendously especially on the defensive end. But the lack of quality players on this team will probably make this team lose in the finals to Boston. Mavs weren’t gonna win the finals with PJ Washington as the third best player and Lakers aren’t gonna win the finals with Reaves as the 3rd best player when Boston has Derick White/Porzingis/Jrue Holiday competing for third best.

I mean lebron still lost in some of his prime years.

Still need some decent role players.

Probably the same since the king is so damn consistently good

Current lakers roster or 2014 lakers roster?

In 2014, LeBron was surrounded by a team of proven winners in Miami—Wade, Bosh, Ray Allen, and Shane Battier. That squad had a winning pedigree. Our current team simply doesn’t stack up the same way.

The issue is still the same: it’s all about whether Anthony Davis and the supporting cast show up consistently. Can we really expect AD, D’Lo, Reaves, and Rui to perform at the same level as Wade, Bosh, Allen, and Battier? Of course not.

It’s like asking, ***”How good would the 2014 Miami Heat have been if LeBron only had Bosh, with no Wade, no Ray Allen, and no Battier?”*** That’s where we are right now—a LeBron with just a Chris Bosh-level counterpart.

This perfectly underscores our need for another star, someone who thrives under pressure and embraces big moments like Wade, not someone who fades like AD.

In short, even with 2014 LeBron, if AD keeps disappearing, and D’Lo, Reaves, and Rui remain inconsistent and a liability on defense, the outcome wouldn’t change.

Championship contender. Prime LeBron with this roster is easily a top 3 team in the league

Imagine 2012-13 lebron with 2020 AD

  14. blacPanther55

The athleticism and defense problem is solved for the most part.

  15. witcher317

He could drag the Lakers to the Finals. Imagine a LeBron that does not get gassed and can play two way for 48 mins…

Like 1st seed with a prime ad would be bonkers

its not like Lebron is bad right now.
41.0% from the 3 last year.
if he had a solid team we would have won.
The nuggets were a big weakness to the team. Our perimeter defence is terrible. our Rebounding is abysmal.
Lebron cannot do everything yet he still tried.
we didnt do anything to solve our 2 biggest problems
