Worth mentioning the Lakers are roughly $40K under the 2nd apron and lack roster spots of their own so while the Raptors have their own obstacles i.e. Bruno’s contract (very small guarantee granted), the Lakers have significantly more notable ones in comparison
And the Spurs (Other team in the mix) can just sign him or waive someone while remaining under the tax, i’m pretty sure
Isnt Brunos contract only guaranteed if he makes it to opening day? It seemed like it was designed to accommodate Koloko coming back
As much as I would love for it to happen for the feels and potentially a great comeback story, I think it might be unlikely for us.
