[Woike] Koloko is expected to join the Lakers on a two-way contract but the team must release one of the three players it has currently signed to two-way deals.

Per sources, any deal for a player currently needing approval for a return-to-play panel needs to be reviewed by the league. If a player is a signed while awaiting approval, that player cannot participate in on-court basketball activities.

Really good signing hoping Koloko works out for us. If he balls out we could prob just trade Woods contract for salary matching purposes in a bigger trade so we can upgrade Koloko’s 2 way into a standard contract.

Not a bruiser but he def better than Hayes as a defender kinda looks a bit like Nic Claxton slightly. Still need a real bruiser but this is something.

Bye Castleton. Didn’t develop and stunk in the summer, no reason to keep him on a two way. I’d rather keep Hinson since he actually has an elite NBA skill already

I think having an NBA level player on a 2 way is a steal

Don’t we also have Jordan Goodwin who could get a two-way deal as well?

get rid of Castleton, weak inside, and promised to shoot 3’s but in SL didn’t do jack.

Great signing especially on a two way. Most likely he will start with the G-league and will get garbage time minutes and probably when a spot opens up he will be on the main roster.
