Because if he doesn’t Luke kornet is going to be playing 40 minutes a game

He’s going to have to be. Love Al but let’s be real, he’s old. KP is gone until Xmas, potentially longer. I’m not sure the team has room to make any other substantial moves. X gunna have to give it to em.

Because he barely played, so it kinda hard not to be.

I expect to see a COROLLARY improvement from year 1 to year 2 as we did from Derrick White. He is going to look a lot more comfortable on both ends of the court, and I think he is going to come in more aggressive shooting the basketball. Coming in and trying to be a championship level role player in the middle of a season is tough. A full off-season, training camp, and preseason of familiarity will make him look so much more dynamic.

If he can learn to shoot like Al, that’d be nice

Hope they got him in the shooting lab this summer. He’s not a lob threat so they need him to be a respectable threat to open up the floor for the Jays.

He already has defense so a three ball (33% at least) would only make him incredibly valuable

He was a double double machine in Memphis when JJJ/Steven Adam’s went down. He’s solid

I pictur X in some remote high altitude desert abandoned playground, sweat dripping off his brow, just swishing threes until the sun sets, and round 2 deep into the night. Then he gets up the next day and does it again
Or he’s prolly enjoying his summer with his family, new contract and championship

He and Kornet should be able to cook vs at least 80% of teams, having KP out is a nice silver lining to get reps.
