  1. It’s a good deal, and obviously progression isn’t linear but he’s still only 23 too.

    Feels like a bit of an overpay at this point in the FA period isn’t it? I guess they didn’t want him taking the QO so had to be good enough for him to take it over that?

    About damn time. It made no sense that it took this long. He’s a good fit for Cleveland at a position they need the depth.

    This actually has a chance of aging really well – he’s improved every season and he’s only 23. I still think our best chance of being a championship level team is just internal growth of guys like Okoro and Mobley rather than blowing it all up.

    13ish a year for a young borderline starter seems like an excellent deal tbh

  6. Punjabiveer30

    Tradable enough salary in case they need to move him

  7. Far-Asparagus6416

    Decent deal especially considering how young he is

  8. BidenFedayeen

    I remember some Thunder fans clamoring for him or Williams from the Bulls.

  9. Diamond4Hands4Ever

    When will Jaylon Tyson get ahead of him in the rotation?

  10. Anyone who watches the Cavs regularly—what’s your take on Isaac Okoro’s development? He’s still just 23, but after 4 seasons, his numbers have stayed pretty stagnant and he’s getting less minutes (though his shooting efficiency has improved).

    * **Rookie year (32 mins per game)**:
    * 9.6 PPG / 3.0 RPG / 2.0 APG
    * 42% FG / 29% 3PT / 73% FT
    * **4th year (27 mins per game)**:
    * 9.4 PPG / 3.0 RPG / 1.9 APG
    * 49% FG / 39% 3PT / 68% FT

    Do you think he still has room to grow, or is this more or less who he is at this point?

    The Ice Man. Top 5 one on one clamps defender in the League.

    Great deal for us, there’s a very good chance Ice becomes the type of 3 and D player worth 2x this amount of money.

    As someone who isn’t a Cavs fan I think the deal structure is fine. It’s not much money. But does this guy even move the needle for your team? He seems like an easy replacement candidate, any given offseason.

    Cavs really running it back with 3 non spacers on the floor, and then will blame the coach for them rarely going above 100 points in the playoffs, lol

    I disagree that this is a good deal. It’s a mid-level contract for a player that’s never going to be a mid-level player the way his offense is.

    Huge value. Hoped the Bucks would find a way to sign him but never had a chance at getting him on the minimum. Still great value for a 23 year old 3 and D wing
