Time to move on & move on he’s getting older great move by the bulls & not paying him to get younger
I was always against the signing, but i did grow to love him. Just a great teammate, and when it comes to these interviews, he is as real as it gets
He was twice as good as Zach
The cost of doing business. The reality is that Derozan had no other choice but to take on that role for various reasons. The reality is that he’s aging and the Bulls aren’t that good. The reality is that we let him walk for NOTHING and how many years now have some of us been saying that this was EXACTLY how this was going to end. I like how the narrative has shifted towards Billy stepping down AFTER they secretly got paid just in case that this new squad doesn’t work out fast enough NO! Billy and the entire front office is on the hot seat for their poor decisions. The focus needs to shift towards Ball who is on a contract year, Lavine’s situation even though you need him now AFTER all of the disrespect and what the timeframe will be with these Bulls.
What I'll miss most about Demar is his game winning shots when the clock was running down reminded me of MJ Demar isn't like Jordan but it was good to see him do that. I wish him the best with the kings
Why you’re going to miss demar so much. He was good, but he wasn’t fit for our team. He stunted lavine and Vuc because of his iso and veteran status. I don’t hate demar but it wasn’t fit for our culture.
If Zach’s contract was not that big maybe they could have traded him instead of Demar but no one wants Zach and Bulls cannot have them both. Demar could have been the perfect mentor to Coby, Ayo,Pat,Dalen,Julian and even Buzelis
I'm not lol. But he did do well for us so I can't hate too much.
It was akme who started this continuity. Before that there was turnover. Lavine was promised a winning team instead they gave him the head coaches, and when you thought “nice they gave Zach a veteran center in Vuc for a pick and roll. They brought in a veteran who isolates and slowed the pace. We signed lavine long term for a reason. Theres a reason why pop HAD to get involved. It was media and fans who pushed the narrative bc demar said he was depressed. All the depressed people of the world gravitated to him. This team is constructed well with our youth finally growing and lavine has but nothing but professional. Silently working seeing an example. Demar complained a lot on the court when calls weren’t going his way.
If Derozan wasn’t an all-star caliber player he would’ve been stayed for sure.
Lavine did screw us lol going suck not seen demar especially when we play the kings
Ehh I won’t miss him. What’s there to miss about a mediocre player and team
I picked up the book this morning. I’m just starting it but I know it’s gonna be a great read. I will really miss Demar on the Bulls team, but I look forward to watching him play on the Kings.
The are no more words to be added.
Because of him I`m going to watch the Kings.
demar went from a player i thought was cool but nothing special in his toronto and San Antonio days but after his bulls tenure he’s easily one of my favorite nba players ever purely from a fans pov
Ah yes the guy that took over lavine team and basically killed his confidence as team leader while simultaneously making it impossible for anyone to score for a solid 3 yrs. Yawn next
I’m going to miss him & his energy. But I’m glad we are moving on. Idk why we still have LaVine and Vuc though 😂
Demar was perfect for this team but Zach Lavine is a Chemistry cancer
Why? Lol. Honestly, why? Dude was here three years and didn’t win anything. Lol y’all so down bad for stars y’all would beg Blake griffin and John wall to sign 😂
wish we could’ve figured out a way to work out a better game plan with demar cuz once teams find out how to guard him, we never really found a way out of it
I miss him one the best players for Chicago since he was a 2022 MVP
Man I couldn’t even read this headline without getting sad. I was so excited when he came here. I knew what he would do for our young kids off the court was going to be huge. He squashed every single fans expectations every season he was here. Full stop. You’re a real one Debo.
He deserved better man. We gave Zach way more time to make an impact. Literally so much time that we can’t move him. Demar with this young core? Man. He would have brought the dog out of every single young dude. Without Demar. Coby and Ayo don’t go to dribble 2 much. I have to disagree brother. Him staying wouldn’t set the bulls back any longer than keeping Vuc and Lavine. We really gonna see the lack of leadership this year.
Maybe after a ring, he could come back. He made the game look easy.
I don't think i will
My favorite player ❤️
true this guy was the epitome of chicago bulls
I’ll always love demar derozan
Listening to him on Podcast P was great. He's a treasure of a person.
Demar was def a real one my ninja ain’t no cap detected fr fr only haters who strait skidibidz be drank dat haterade on that OG playa tho ngl I miss Demar already tho
We owed it to him, to get him somewhere he could win. He deserves it. If only he had won earlier in his career 😞 ….
Demar was a delight to watch especially in the clutch and made me feel like I had jumped in a time machine and gone back to the 90s 😄 miss you mate. Hope you have all the success in Sacramento.
Greatest bull player ever–DOUBLE D!¡ 😃
People can have misgivings about his ability to win a championship because of his skill set but imo he is a top 5 Bull of all time for me and personally. This was supposed to be Zachs team but it was DeMar's game that inspired me to watch day in and day out these last few seasons, his ability to play under pressure and just get u a bucket when u need him to is third to only Kobe and MJ imo. He also seems like a complicated guy who is genuinely nice and i credit him in large part to Coby and Ayo's development. I for sure will be watching the Kings and rooting for them while he stays on the team.
If I could choose who will stay between Demar or Lavine,it's Demar,a good mentor and leader.
What has he ever done in the playoffs?
