He’s not wrong. I lived in Portland for 7 years. The city has a lot of strip clubs per capita but a lot of them are mid. You can find better at the overpriced stops near Times Square.

Oden strip club story…….I got you covered. It’s a Tuesday night in the winter and we go out for my coworkers bday to a bar down the street from work. Toss a few back and feeling pretty good, so my buddy wants to go to a strip club (Stars Cabaret in Tualatin/Bridgeport for those PDX locals), keep in mind it’s a Tuesday at like 8:30pm. So we go to the strip club and walk in and there’s like 8 people max, including the strippers and bartenders. We’re hanging out for a few minutes, get our drinks, sit down at a table, and I decided to walk over to the rack and then I see Oden, who’s sitting in the corner by myself, with his leg in a HUGE cast propped up on a chair. He’s got about 4-5 empty glasses in front of him with a monster stack of ones, just casually laying them on the rack every 10 seconds or so. I give him a head nod as he doesn’t seem like he wants to be bothered and looks kinda sauced, so I to just leave him alone even though I’m a season ticket holder and love the guy, even through injuries. Well we were there for like 2 hours or so and Oden never moved, he was still hanging out ones like candy when we left. It was honestly pretty sad to see, felt bad for the guy that he was all alone.
