    I mean… a fan can dream.

Jokic is going to have to do more with less. The team lost roleplayers, and he’s going to put more of the stat load on himself. He’s going to look like an advanced stat god yet again, and continue to solidify himself as one of the most effective players in NBA history.

Brunson is a wild card. It matters how much Randall buys into their new system, but he could go off again this season.

Luka is gonna do more Luka things. Another year with Lively, and their shooting is still strong in the corner is going to mean Luka continues to put up massive numbers.

OKC added more defense and off-players, clearing the lane even more of SGA.

The real wild card is going to be Ja Morant. After two years off, does me make a massive comeback? If he plays like a man on a mission to prove something, he’s getting MVP votes this year, it’s just too much narrative.

I think our boy is going to stay in the conversation. Unless it’s a 5 point jump in PPG, 3 more assists, or perhaps he puts himself in DPOY discussions (while maintaining last year’s offensive output), I don’t think he wins. I could see him breaking into the top 3, but I’d be willing to put a few bucks on 4-7 in MVP voting.

IDK. He needs to smarten up just about in all aspects of his game to get an MVP against the current dudes.

You can’t be throwing away playoff games like he did, and everybody saw that shit. So I hope it all works out.
