3:27 it’s pretty big but at the same time, it’s a role player. Christian braun is obviously going to be who defends the best guard player, ag will continue to guard the best post/wing. Not really sure what nugget team you’ve been watching but you can go & look at the games or numbers where they run lineups with braun, they’ve been really good.
5:06 my brother i promise you kcp got cooked by lebron( hence why we throw ag on him & not kcp) & kcp gets obliterated by shai ( shai’s one of the 5ish best players in the league so that’s to be expected) . He’s too small to affect shai’s movement & not quick or athletic enough to contest his jumpshots. Every time we played okc shai cooked kcp. It was so bad we tried putting ag & peyton watson on him who also got cooked. So i’m not really sure what versatility kcp offered us . Maybe against the jaysom tatum type wings but even then, im moments in the game when tatum or other players built like him put their head down & attack, they bullied kcp 7/10. Kcp will get a strip, or steal. Because he has great hands & is really smart but in terms of versatility, yea no. Kcp can’t guard luka ant booker shai kawai , brandon ingram or deaaron fox & these are some of the main stars/allstars we’ll see in the playoffs.
5:11 he literally can😂, & there have been countless examples of him doing so on the clippers. He’s more athletic then kcp ( even at 36) , longer arms & a stronger. A better defender? No. But more versatile? He honestly is

Nuggets lost BB, JG, KCP and couple of other assets… And got back Westbrook (to replace Reggie – which is a bit of a wash) and Saric (I have no clue what position he'll play IN REALITY – ESPECIALLY IN THE POs). In the meantime – Jamal Murray declined to a g-league guard.
So… What is "perfection"? Not having a great guard that can optimize MPJ and AG? Having a low-mid guy that can ONLY play 2-man game with a HOF/top-10 historical player in his prime (any decent g-league guard could do that)? Not having another shooter? Not having a capable backup C? And it's been like that for the last 8 years in Nuggets. Perfection :)))))) 🙂 Replacing KCP with CB (I like the kid, but come on)… !?
Nuggets ORG (owners, GM, FO) is a disgrace to the sport of basketball.

i respectfully disagree that you can throw KCP on Lebron. But you can Braun. Same for Luka and ANT. KCP is best for guarding Steph type of players
