AJ Griffin suddenly quit the NBA and has not said why he did it. Many people are speculating and hoping heā€™s doing well but if you look behind the scenes the reason heā€™s giving up a dream job and millions of dollars becomes very clear.

  1. The answer is simple. Don't make it complex. He's a cripple. He's 21 in a 51 year old body.

I said this before the draft and I'll pull receipts. His knees were shot before be got to Duke.

I said before the draft he wouldn't last 3 years because his knees were fucked and look now.

He's also a mental nut job but I ain't gonna get into that shit.

  2. they gave gave him 3 mill, and they tryna give him 6 mill for next season…i found that interestiing

  3. He shouldā€™ve came to Orlando , JI has the same amount of passion for God this young man does, he was just around the wrong environment

  4. 18-24 years old is when schizophrenia usually begins to peak its ugly head. Iā€™ve seen many folks start with religion but going overboard with it. Then the meds stop because they think spirituality and religion will suffice. Then the schizophrenia picks up and becomes visible.

  5. Iā€™ll make fun of his religion. Or at least, his severe lack of critical thinking skills to see that religion is a scam.

I grew up around that bullshit, and for everyone it helps, there are 10 more that have been hurt.

How many wars have been started over religion?

How many millions of children have been abused because of religion?

  6. He would be way more successful in n spreading his faith had he chose to continue being a great player and spreading his faith publicly I think

  7. Good for him! If i was him though, i would play out my contract, stack my breesh and ride off into the sunset

  8. I hope it's because the guy has bigger passions than basket and he wants to concentrate on that and live the life he wants…There's still people that don't put money at n. 1 in their life objectives

3.9 is ok but you have to take into account most athletes only receive about 50 to 60 percent of the actual salary after taxs agent lawyers ect ,
And 2 mil sadly ainā€™t what it used to be he will most likely burn threw it if he hasnā€™t already
But in the end money isnā€™t everything
And generational wealthy just makes a bunch off lazy delusional entitled off spring so thereā€™s that lol

  10. @JaKingScomez
    3.9 is not generational
Money .. not in Toronto anyway lol
You get a crack shack for a million these days so

  11. I think another key reason too is because they aren't giving him an OPPORTUNITY

a lot of people put pride in their work, and for him to not be on the court for weeks at a time and not be able to contribute is definitely hard for him. There are a lot of people who refuse free handouts and free money, and want to be able to put the time in. AJ wont say it but he probably feels disrespected by the team, not being given an opportunity to play and prove himself. He is not in the rotation at all, and probably has poor relations with some of the staff. Its a case of "if you don't need me, i will take myself out the picture…"
