This Giannis News Is WILD…

The Golden State Warriors have dreams of acquiring Giannis Antetokounmpo, per Sam Amick of the Athletic…

So we can now officially add Giannis to the list. The Warriors tried and failed to get Paul George, and/or Lauri Markkanen this offseason, they’ve been connected to Jimmy Butler as well… and now apparently they are going after Giannis.

And there is a real way to make this happen by the way!

Just imagine Steph Curry running a pick and roll with Giannis, Steve Kerr using him as a 5 in these lineups with great spacing, all the great ball movement the Warriors have been known for with Giannis at the center of it all… that is a super exciting thing to think about.

  1. Wasnt there rumors of the warriors trying to get Giannas before they traded for Jrue a couple years ago? Just running the same thing back again huh😂

  2. I heard the Milwaukee Bucks are interested in acquiring Steph Curry – WILD. Having the Warriors give up Steph will allow them to acquire assets (including Dame) and begin the process of tearing their team down as they look to a rebuild for the future, that’s just the reality of the situation…. In other news, the Laker are looking to trade recently acquired center Koloko for Jokic and Jamal Murray believing that because the Nuggets did not repeat, that they would love to rid themselves of their superstar and future while “building for the future”.

  3. Warriors give away their young talent and picks i.e. their future and Giannis ends up sitting on the court rubbing an injured leg during the playoffs then the Warriors will be irrelevant for a decade or more.
Some say they "owe" that to Steph. I thought players are paid to excel for fans and organization. Didn't Steph become the highest paid player because fans via ticket sales, merchandise and organization and league making media deals because of fans watching?
And if Steph wanted to win couldn't he have taken less to make the price of "help" less? At this point, given all his endorsement deal and investments isn't his "bag" already big enough? And if they get Giannis and one more title that is likely the end and the price paid in resources would still mean 10 – 15 years of bottom feeding before the team might be good again.
If all the young talent ends up in Milwaukee thanks to media I'll be watching the Bucks going forward. What team is predicted to be one near the top next season? Isn't that the OKC Thunder with a ton of young talent and other teams draft capital for the next several years. That would potentially become the Bucks with that trade.
The trade to be made would be Steph out of appreciation to a list of teams chasing a ring and the assets to make to take his short trajectory on.
Then the Warriors might have a future.

  4. we have a prime Giannis in Milwaukee they will trade every single other player before Giannis terrible take

  5. in all fairness they said dreams of acquiring giannis i have dreams of getting paid to do nothing cough cough ben simmons

  6. IF the Bucks ever move Giannis it will be for a boatload of assets. Something only a few teams like OKC or Utah will be able to offer. The Warriors are not even close to having enough assets to get any star that could actually help them win another title.

  7. Jrue Holiday was better during that championship run than Kyrie was in this year's playoffs. Middleton was basically as impactful offensively as Kyrie while providing good perimeter defense. Why are you revising history?

  8. Breaking News: Warriors want Giannis, Luka, SGA, and Jokic. Truly they are lightyears ahead.

  9. How does Giannis make the dubs contenders? Better off seeing how the Bucks look? shame Rivers is the coach. This take is a major reach.

  10. Golden State Warriors END DYNASTY in 2023 😋🤪😛😋😝😜😋😋😛😝🤪😋😜😋😝😛😝😛😜😋🤪😝🤪😜😋😋😛😜😋😝😋😜😋😜😛😜😛😜😛😜🤪😜🤪😜😋😝😋😜😋😜😛😜😛😜😛

  12. Hot take: If Draymond had Steph and Giannis to pass to, he might just damn near lead the league in assists.

  13. If Giannis wants a trade, a Heat deal involving Butler and fodder on one/both sides would be an awesomely seismic trade

  14. People have to come to terms with the fact Stef ain't that guy to lead a team to a title. His best days are behind him and the injury bug is going to start biting now in his old age and if you gut the team for a player like the Greek Freak only to see the same thing that just happened to Dame, an injury that cripples the team.

  15. These teams don't have anything the Bucks want. I'd literally rather let Giannis sit out than trade him to these teams for peanuts.
