  1. Please stop entertaining the notion the Heat want to take all this garbage for players who are actually good. We don't.

  2. There will be no bidding war for Trae Young simply because there hasn’t been one yet, and he, like Jimmy Butler, is entering his last guaranteed year. They’ve been shopping him for basically two years, and no deal. Two FRPs and two swaps may be all they get offered.

  3. The Rockets and Jazz trades aren’t great. Jimmy is my favourite player of all time but with his age, injury concerns, and expiring contract, that’s an overpay. Brooks, one of Green or Whitmore, 1 FRP, and maybe 2 SRPs would be much more fair. As for Utah, they’re deliberately tanking and rebuilding. They’re not about to give up draft picks for an expiring contract they’d then have to pay. There’s teams who will give them young talent and/or draft picks for guys like Collins and Kessler and those both serve Utah much better than BI would. That trade is an instant done deal for the Pelicans but the Jazz would hang up the phone.

  4. trae young has never led a team to be anything but garbage. I wouldn't trade half of those assets for him.

  5. Could only see the Warriors and Phoenix trading for Butler, even then spacing with the Warriors would get ugly now that Slomo, Kuminga, Looney and Draymond Green are their best defenders

  6. As a Pelicans fan, I'd take less than that for Ingram, tbh. Getting any picks back seems like a stretch. I just want to get a couple useful players with one of them being a big man. My preferred package would be Claxton and DFS, but I have no idea why the Nets would do that unless they just want an expiring contract.

  7. Listen here. And watch the season and you’ll see how correct I am. TRAE IS NOT GETTING TRADED. I don’t care what Tim McMahon said (the nba media is definitely against trae which is why he said what he said) the hawks NEVER wanted to trade him, and trae WANTS to be in Atlanta. He has made that clear; everything he’s doing with his teammates and going to falcons and Braves games, hanging out with Zaccharie, and representing Atlanta every chance he gets is indicative of that as well as everything he keeps saying on podcasts and stuff. If the hawks were ACTUALLY trying to trade him, he would not be so hype about playing for Atlanta in all these ways. He is not going anywhere.

  8. I actually like the Butler trade Green has been way too inconsistent. Whitmore has potential but they have a lot of wings already. Starting Lineup should this trade happen. FVV Reed Sheppard, Butler, Sengun. Bench Amen Thompson Tari Eason Jock Londale, Steven Adams. This pushes them to Top 5 in the West

  10. The fact that Heat are in playins year after year is to a great extent Butler "I turn it up in the playoffs" attitude falt.
