Tyler Herro can be the 3rd option on a championship team… it all depends on who is your top 2 options. Jimmy and Bam are not the most polished and offensive superstars.
No one dogs the defensive comps either. There’s plenty of subpar defensive players in the nba. People want a face to be mad at. Jimmy had a terrible season and a literal nonexistent post season. Bam shrunk in the playoffs.

nobody cares about a pat bev opinion dudes a goofy Tyler been the problem defensive liability refuses to come off the bench..
Not completely blamed but I do think that having Tyler take the most shots on the team for the past 2 seasons did more harm than good. IMO he should take a step back and either play more off-ball as a catch and shoot player or come off the bench as a microwave scorer.

The problem with Tyler is his DEFENSE. People who want to bring up this subject and talk about his offense only is a perfect example of pathetic basketball analysis to me. Tyler would be an unquestioned starter at all times among all his ridiculous haters if DEFENSIVELY he could hold up in all situations, especially the playoffs.
Tyler…..you only have one area to improve in to shut everybody the fuck up. You gotta become an effective NBA level defender at all times. That's it. Get it done. Until you do, I see them possibly benching you for Haywood Highsmith, who can also shoot, but is also an elite defender.
