To me it's kind of weird that a guard is training a big but at the same time most bigs are not traditional and I feel Sims have improved and may shock some teams..

They ignored the center position all off season. They knew Robinson was injured at the end of the playoffs; lost I-Hart; drafted Huktporti, only signed him to a two-way contract; let Skaptincev walk; didn't sign Drummond; didn't sign Howard; reluctantly resigned Achuwa; and now they plan on playing Randle (also injured) at center? Management is really screwing the Knicks up.
The Knicks need size. I don't understand 2 of the offseason signings (Landry Shamet & Cam Payne). They should have targeted centers earlier on in the offseason

1. People who are saying that's it, now it's time to trade Mitch. Please explain what's the difference from the beginning of summer to now. He wasn't available then, and all they did was give us a timetable. It's not like they backtracked.
2. Still, D Howard to me sounds like the best option. I'm sure he's always working out and staying in shape. Especially if he's doing Dancing with the Stars like you said.
3. If I'm Thibs, I'm going to Sims, and I'm starting him for the first month of the season and I'm telling him how much we like him and have faith in him and this is his opportunity to prove us right. He doesn't have to worry about getting in the game because he's always gonna start. He needs to earn his keep from there, or he's no longer safe. That should help with his confidence and put some fire under him at the same time
