For the people that are saying Scottie is “trapped”

People need to grow up, just because someone has a big contract in the NBA doesn’t mean they are being “set up or trapped”

People love to think women are evil manipulators.

I don’t think I’ve read anywhere that’s he’s ‘trapped’ or been ‘set up’.

Dude has fallen head over heels in love and that’s cool.

I’ve been there… 22 years old dating someone older. It wasn’t a 10 year gap though, it was 5.

You feel grown up. It matures you. It makes all your 22 year old friends seem immature and young af (even though you’re the same age lol).

Older men and women tend to have a career, their own income and for obvious reasons have more life experience. The big factor is that they’re self sufficient, independent and not reliant on others financially. This is probably what Scottie likes and respects about his new partner.

Also, how many high school relationships actually make it? Usually one out of the two realises that they’re missing out on life opportunities. It’s really harsh but the reality is that Scottie hangs out in elite circles that probably make his previous life look boring or unappealing.

To me it seems like he outgrew the relationship with his HS sweetheart. It happens all the time, men and women.

I wish Scottie all the best. I get it. You just want the dude to be happy and play good basketball.

IDGAF about anything other than Raptor wins, LESS bitching about “calls” and making the team better (PLAYOFFS).

    His choices.

If being trapped is location based, then Toronto ain’t a trap.

If being trapped is about winning, well Scottie is or will be the level of player that has a lot of his own fate in his hands.

I only care what he does on the court.

Idc about his issues. But impregnating a woman at 22 that you ain’t put years into is some weirdo shit. Goofball behaviour. Hopefully he makes better decisions on the court.

Wishing lil bro a safe arrival and mom all the same. As a dad my mental was all over the place leading up to them touching Down.

    With all that said…
