VC basketball career especially with the Raptors is more memorable than any other Raptor, not including the 2019 championship run.
I've watched nearly every raps game and Vince Carter turned into a traitor who tanked games and the old timers remember his mother influences. I hate Vince Carter and love the Raps.

I hated VC when this all went down. I’m 40 years old so I remember this vividly. I have been watching the raps since 1995. The highs and lows when vc was here were wild. When he started throwing a fit and saying “I’m not dunking anymore” I was so upset. He really screwed us over and set us back 5+ years. By forcing his way out we got the absolute worst return ever for a star player. What a joke. But I’m over it now, I see the good he did.
Meh not worried about Scottie ranking. He has a whole season to crack top 25
VC going to hall of fame so jersey retirement is about timing too. Its been almost 20yrs and people still holding a grudge? Bruh that like a whole generation.

We don’t care what the higher up’s in the organization think. Without Vince the Raptors likely don’t survivor even with good ownership. You think if they kept Jamison instead of Carter he would be marketable ? Carter made Canada relevant in basketball talks around the world. That’s why his nickname was Air Canada Carter! Vince Carter made us get national games!! The raptors never had a national televised game until Vince Carter showed up. You think ESPN, or TNT was putting them on ? Canadian stations were even showing raptors games. Lowry came after all these thing were built by Carter. He’s not on the level of Vince Carter in terms of the importance to this organization getting established. You can’t build a house without foundation and Vince Carter is the foundation!! I don’t care what any younger fans say, or what anybody that came to this country after the Vince Carter era have to say. Their opinion is irrelevant!!
