Who were your favorite Process era Sixers?

I can’t believe it’s been over a decade since we started the Process. There were many forgettable and unforgettable moments during this era and it’s quite remarkable how far this team has come today. When we started the Process is when I really started to love basketball and the Sixers. Although there were some rough patches at the start, the Process always gave me optimism for the future. Who were your some of your favorite players that you’ll never forget from this era? For me it was Tj McConnell and Tony Wroten. Let me know if I left anyone out.

Maybe doesn’t fully count, but Thaddeus Young

  2. leyendadelflash

Jarvis Varnado had the coolest name

Point Jakarr was the funkiest experiment

Javale McGee is the best “wait, he played for us?!” nomination

But the ultimate Process Sixer is The Process himself

  3. Flarkenstein

MCW. was fun for that one season. Noel was really fun as well.

But TJ was def my favorite.

  4. Crafty_Priority_56

TJ was my favorite Process era Sixer.

  5. SonicdaSloth

TJ or Ish of the ones who could play

I’m a Simba truther til the day i die. Love that guy and i find it sad that sixers couldn’t keep one of Jo’s boys who was ride or die

  6. Palangoma

KJ McDaniels was fun as hell to watch.

  7. surgegeneral

For me it has to be RoCo followed by TJ

Okafor because he beat up some Celtics fans

    Covington

Dude was fun and won me a couple fantasy basketball championships

One time I saw Jody Meeks hit like five threes in a row and I thought he was the next big thing

  14. WrongnessMaximus2-0

Jodie Meeks, who never saw a shot he wouldn’t take.

  15. heyelander

It would have been Dario if he ever came over.

    Wroten was cool.

I’m one of the few that still actually watched every single game of the process years, so after having nobody on offense, it was special to see jah come in and remember what it was like to actually have someone with an offensive repertoire.

I always knew nerlens couldn’t be a star or top 2 player on a good team, but I did always like him. I like defense and shot blockers a lot. So he was exciting.

I was at MCW’s first game live, and seeing him get 9 steals against LeBron and I believe a triple double was pretty insane

  17. dranebrain

I still actively cheer for both Covington and Tj. Always Sixers in my mind.

McConnell was fun for sure, Noel was also a lot of fun and some potential there.

Shake also had some great flashes of play when needed.

TJ got paid this off season, so happy for that dude.

Ish Smith to Nerlens alley oops were literally the only play the team had for a year or two, and it was always hype.

This group of guys will always hold a special place in my heart. I watched those games twice because I was writing and doing the GIFs for the sub and I did it all happily.

TJ was and will forever be my favorite and I’ll always have love for the “core” guys from that era – Hollis, Hank Sims, Stauskas, RoCo, Ish, JaKarr, Wroten, Brandon Davies, Canaan, Nerlens.

I also miss getting irrationally excited about guys that came in for a short time too hoping they’d pop – Thomas Robinson, Alexey Shved, Christian Wood, Furkan Aldemir, KJ McDaniels…

    Simpler times.

I liked Mbah a Moute. Was a quiet vet, came in on a make good deal, and was usually the only competent guy on the floor.

  23. irespectwomenlol

In an alternate realty, Furkan Aldemir would have been a beast of a glue-guy hustling role player for this team. He worked on his body big time over his only offseason in the NBA, he set great screens, he was an amazing rebounder, he was developing that 3 point range, was a decent enough passer, etc.

  24. frogzsj13

Every so often I go on YouTube and watch TJ McConnell stealing inbound passes, he gets my vote

  25. Ok-Delivery6929

Still have my MCW jersey from when I was like 8, one of my all time favorite sixers

  26. illzkla

What are you talking about this feels like two lifetimes ago

Answer is clearly TJ but Wroten and Cannanball gave me hope cuz I was dumb (still dumb etc)
