Would not want to see JB on the Warriors. 5 years ago, maybe, but this idea that the Warriors need a retiring star to add to Steph in order for them to win is ridiculous. If the Warriors had to give up JK, Podz and Moody, for anyone outside of Luka, they will not win. It’s not that Podz, JK and Moses are better than LeBron or KD, or maybe even JB, but these older guys are past their prime, nothing against them, it’s just reality. Adding younger, 24-27 year old superstar talent to play with Steph, that would be great, but you can’t trade for young superstars because teams don’t want to part with those players. You either develop in house, which let’s admit it was Mark Jackson, not Kerr, or you trade or ancillary players for other ancillary players who fit your team better, or you sign complimentary free agents, which the Warriors did. They have good, very good, some star/maybe potential all-star talent as is, Kerr has to intelligently move forward with what they have, give the youth the chance to prove themselves, and stop making excuses. We had KD, we’re not getting LeBron, Giannis or Luka. The Warriors will have to win the hard way, by working hard and playing smarter than their opponents.
I disagree quite a bit. Warriors need offensive juice and shooters. JB does neither.

Jimmy would be like Iggy and Livingston for the Warriors.
With that being said, Jimmy shouldn’t start if he were to be on the Warriors via trade or as a FA next yr. He’s 6th man type of guy due to his injury limitations.
Wasn’t saying that Mavs would do that, I’m just saying the Warriors should not trade young for super old. Mavs wouldn’t make that trade, but the Warriors need to stop thinking there’s some magic 35 year old (or more) that’ll help them win a title. They have their old dudes in Steph and Draymond, both can contribute to a younger team winning
