Looking at what happened yesterday with news that the Knicks center issues got bigger with losing Robinson for a few months this should give Brooklyn more incentive to trade Johnson and Dorian Finney Smith within their Eastern Conference to make the Knicks journey even tougher while collecting important assets and growing the value of their current draft picks 🔥….
Trading Dorian Finney Smith to the Pacers for Jarace Walker and a first round draft pick and trading Johnson to the Magic for a first round draft pick multiple second round draft picks and Jett Howard would be some great business for Brooklyn 🔥. Getting multiple prospects and important draft capital would position Brooklyn well going into next year's draft 😎….
Jarace Walker could be Noah Clowney's backup at power forward if Clowney makes the starting rotation eventually 🔥….
If the Nets traded Johnson to the Magic for thet Denver first round draft pick Brooklyn would then have 7 picks in next year's historical 2025 draft 🔥… Having 5 picks in the first round would give Brooklyn a lot of flexibility and options to draft the best prospects they can 👍….

As a pacer fan, I’m not taking Fucking Wendell Carter Jr over DFS in this deal, I’d maybe give up Benedict mathurin for DFS, but definetly not Jarace for barley anything in return.
Rather keep Vinny Smith play him at the 3 trade cam Johnson in this proposed deal get back Wendell Carter & a 1st if possible

Jarace is around the same age, dimensions, and play the same position as Trendon Watford. That should play out as good competition for PT. It's all good.

It was Nic Claxton or DFS. Nets need more offense, because they already have a lot of plus defenders.
Rookies hardly get any PT under Carlisle. Usually it's 2nd and 3rd year when they get to shine.
Carlisle is also one of the better development coach. His track record suggests and supports it.

I think Nets should explore Lonzo for CamJ trade. I will unload both 2025 2nd round picks to Chicago as well.
This will allow to resign DFS for reasonable contract. 3 year 45 mil will be amazing.
