There’s a decent chance we’ll miss both again, considering the West is likely going to be harder this year than last… 13 teams have legit playoff aspirations. 😳

I think we are being slept on, but it is going to take leaps from a few of the young core to be a playoff team.

We are being slept on big time, but goddamn this season is going to be a bloodbath.
So pumped, love the parity in the league.

We were close to the ‘play in’ last year, hopefully with a fully healthy roster we can break through that wall and reach it or the playoffs.
I unfortunately think that the best-case-scenario for us is a high-seed play-in team. Given the west’s 13 teams looking to make the play-in (and I really think you could argue 14), I can say with absolute certainty we’re worse than 5 of them (Wolves-Thunder-Mavs-Grizzlies when healthy-Nuggets), and better than 2 (the spurs and the jazz). That places us anywhere from the 6-12 seed (EDIT: was 6-11, miscounted), which is great, but we do lack the star power some of these other teams.
Of the other teams, I’m moslty concernec about being *consistently* better than them, i.e. ready and able to beat them reliably.
* The Clippers will be a complete crapshoot, dependent on Kawhi’s health and how our guy Harden can run the offense as the 2nd option * The Kings are interesting, the addition of Demar makes us beating them regularly much harder * The suns are another crapshoot, but we’ve seen that we can beat them any given night * The Lakers are a gimme if LeBron or AD ever go down, but would be a tough out if healthy * The Warriors still unfortunately have Curry leading the charge * And lastly the Pelicans, yet another team dependent on health. Now that Valanciunas is gone, I do think we can beat them any given night (which is crazy that I think I think he’s the difference maker).
Long story short, I think we’ll land around 8, assuming injury history holds up. But who knows, if Jalen comes out SHOOTIN we could go as high as 5 with some good luck.

Our season hinges on JG progress.

They will be a top 5 team, assuming jabari, tari, alpi, and fred all play 60+ games.

Either one would be nice.
