The Knicks announced recently that starting center Mitchell Robinson will miss several months due to rehabbing his surgically repaired ankle. Due to this, insiders believe that a major move is coming for NY and multiple centers have been linked to the Knicks in the past few weeks. According to a recent report from The Athletic, the Knicks continue to show trade interest in Charlotte Hornets center, Nick Richards. With Robinson out, it could push NY to make a move out of desperation and give up a piece they normally wouldn’t… Troy Mahabir breaks all of this down!

Transforming Ariel K contract into a standard NBA contract is the best move. I know it's not ideal but letting the 5 depth be Precious, Morris, Simms and Ariel as backup from the G league (getting him alot of reps and getting his game stronger)

We need to trade from excess. That means a guard needs to go in the trade. With Kolek, Duece, Payne, Shamet, Brunson, Dante. Bridges. Where the minutes coming from for Duece or anyone not named Brunson or Bridges,Dante? Losing Duece will not cost us a Championship! Not getting a Center will.

The Knicks keep trying to avoid the obvious — it's over for Mitch and this team so go get the future Leon. That future deal is… Jalen Duren. He's the best fit for this group, the style of play, youth, potential, and Thibs as his coach. Give up what you have to give up Leon and go work out a deal with the Pistons so that the next era can begin. Mitchell Robinson, who is a good player and person, unfortunately, is the past.

Hey Troy where did our 7'1" Summer League center go. I watched the summer league games and looked promising.
Robinson is too dam brittle and would never ever play a full season. He is waste of money on this team. Give him his money and get rid of him. His injuries makes him useless.
