Wilt Chamberlain on his free throws: “I went to a psychiatrist on my free throw situation. After a month… the psychiatrist was a better free throw shooter than I was” 😄

Psychiatrist? Not Psychologist? MAOIs were pretty rough.

You can’t help but smile everytime Bill Russell laughs.

The world was robbed of Wilt far too soon. He’d still be 3 years younger than Hubie Brown who is still calling games. Would’ve loved his takes and commentary on the modern NBA.

I thought the story about Bill going to his house for Thanksgiving before games was a better story.

Bill’s laugh fills me with joy

Love the chemistry Bill and Wilt had together in these interviews

This is somehow relatable… i’ve been struggling all my life with shooting even after tirelessly studying it. Trained a highschool kid this summer, taught him my own cues and after a few sessions he was shooting better than i did.

Russell was an amazing person, but everybody already knows that. Wilt had a greater personality than he gets credit for though.

Wilt is fucking hilarious. I can see how he was a player.

He should’ve shot free throws granny style. The game where Wilt Chamberlain scored 100 points, 28 of those points were from free-throws, and every single one was granny-shot. His percentage nearly doubled when he shot this way, but he went back to shootting normally next season.

Bill got that little brother laugh and gestures. I love it

goes to show that many players were friends back then too…it’s not a new thing

God it’s just crazy growing up too late for these guys seeing them laughing and joking around. Wish I could have witnessed them playing. I obviously got to see Russel as an older man but not Chamberlain. Jealous of those that did. RIP to both.

these guys should have been the first iteration of inside the NBA.

The best part of this video to me is Bill Russell’s laugh.

After watching this video, developers behind the NBA 2K series gonna add mental health as a skill set lol

This is how Jordan and Barkley should be. Great examples.
