[McMenamin] Rob Pelinka says the team is open to trading their two available first round picks if any deal they would be involved in can help secure “sustained Lakers excellence”

Sustained excellence when LeBron has only 2 years left in the league lmfao this team will be exactly the same come April

I get why they have to do it for the purpose of their job, but what’s the point of asking this question. We’ve heard the same exact answer for multiple offseasons.

Laker tax is real

Change the record, Rob, the grooves are worn out.

Tired of hearing this lol

Weâre only trading them for a star, which is very unlikely to happen. But anythings a possibility.

Oh brother lmao

Rob sending out the batsignal to any disgruntled stars out there.

DO NOT TRADE D’ANGELO RUSSEL. DO NOT TRADE HIM
Phuddy
I almost wish Rob would come out and just say that many GMs and franchises negotiate in bad faith with us, but that would likely only make the shit worse.

Whatever man. He said this last year. Rob ain’t doing a damn thing

Reaves or DâLo have to go, now that you have Knetch. Murray wouldâve got us past Denver last year. Jamal was injured and dude looked like an all nba guard against us. LeBron is 40, regression might happen at any moment. Took too long with Ham, donât do it again.
Honestly, it already might be too late. 70 games from Bron & AD is far from guaranteed. Please make a move.

Mods can we get a âsustained Lakers excellenceâ flair please
McJumbos
Same story every year…
Gristle__McThornbody
But let’s say we don’t, which is likely the case cause Pelinka can’t cook for shit, will we have three first rounders to trade in the offseason or will we be able to do 4?
Honestly at this point there’s no real reason to trade the picks with Lebron on his way out. AD will be the franchise player and they we can see about trading one or two to get someone else to join, but doing a godfather deal with Lebron on his way out doesn’t make sense. Rather be a bit more patient.
