Walker Kessler is the ideal trade target for the Knicks. The Knicks have been trying to get Walker Kessler on the roster since the offseason and have been targeting him since then, but haven’t been able to land him. A large obstacle that they’ve been facing is Danny Ainge, as no deal with him seems to be extremely fair for both sides. However, the Knicks may have the best offer on the table available at the trade deadline and if that’s the case Ainge may have no choice but to accept the deal from New York. I would not do that trade. This is a guard and wing league. You need a lock down defender on this team. People talk about Robinson always getting hurt. OG is always hurt. Are the Knicks going to rely solely on Bridges when OG gets hurt? Our key players are ready mash out. Give the players on this roster a chance to earn their stripes.
I would do it with no hesitation
Walker is a dog, One of the youngest centers in the league, and he’s a great D anchor. I would love to have him, it’s just the price 💙🧡

Leon Rose won't be "desperate" and waste the Knicks's resources to get a Center. Mr Rose is playing "POKER" with the NBA GMs to get their Center for a low & reasonable trade deal.

Man slow down we ain't getting Kessler if he becomes available we will definitely get outbidded. Our trade package isn't that desirable not only that team around the league know we are very close to winning a title so the are getting involved in this trade.

I don’t get this trade idea from the Jazz side. They are loaded with Guards, and their point guards are pretty small, which would make playing beside McBride at the two a pretty small backcourt. Both Sexton and Jordan are listed at 6-3, but certainly don’t look like it.
Danny Ainge is going to want more. I think that we are going to trade for Jalen Duren from the Pistons. We didn't hire Mark Bryant for no reason & he was making Duren better.
If Ainge were to work out some reasonable deal for Kessler,
he'd also accrue a serious IOU from Leon Rose. I'm sure Rose wouldn't mind tho.
Walker Kessler is the move that would really right the Knicks ship.
Agreed, Kessler is easily the best option imo too. Don't think Ainge will take that but if we could do Duece and those 2 other teams protected firsts or even protect one of our own future picks if we can. Losing Duece would hurt but we'd have to. Our starting lineup would be complete.

Kessler been playing like trash as of lately,he's worse than Hartenstein and less know.
I’ve been wanting Kessler (or Duren) since we officially lost I HART….
These have been my proposals, starting with most preferred..
Pacome Didiet, Bates-Diop and those 2 protected firsts.
Second choice-
Achuiwa and 2 protected firsts.
Third choice
Didiet, Kolek, and 1 protected first
Last choice(but still willing)
McBride and a protected first(or a few 2nds)
The truth is that Danny Ainge should take the deal and give that young man a chance, remember Danny it's his career and his future.

What we giv up
I love deuce. I think he is going to be a future six man of the year multiple times.
But on our roster now, we need a starting caliber center and McBride Is third on the depth chart whether he is playing either PG or SG.
Overall, as much as I like McBride, someone like Kessler brings much more value when it comes to filling the needs of this team
Deuce is a proven playoff performer!! He is actually quite valuable. He’s also the best defender of quick PG’s.
IMO deuce is more valuable than Kessler. The problem is that there’s no way Deuce can avg 25-30 mpg with this team😢
