Become EFFORTLESS As a Hooper

Become EFFORTLESS As a Hooper

There’s a lot of good that can come from making the game feel more effortless for yourself. Not because it looks cooler, but because it probably means you’re playing pretty efficiently and effectively! Here’s how.

  1. When I think about it this is basically a find your playstyle video where you have to find your style to be effortless. awesome video!

  2. I figured it came down to your handle and your footwork. I've been working on them for years, but I'm still not as nice as i'd like.

Something from your damian Lillard (or cj mccollum) video that has stuck with me for YEARS – at one point, you point out that he uses a pound dribble. I've been trying to integrate that into a pound hard enough that it rises up and then you have to get the hand positioning and legs right that it fluidly turns into a shot. Like a peekaboo right in front of your defender – so you can never relax during a live dribble. I'm still not fluid enough for my goals, but it's a little something you threw out to the internet that stuck with someone else in the world.

Thanks for the content! And your time. 🙏🙌👏🤝

  3. Please do an "Old man game" series! Im in my mid 40s and losing speed, quickness, and vertical by the year.

  4. One thing you did not mention, which is really important, is… Spacing . Team spacing, and once you pass ur defender (finding a good space) to score comfortably, which takes high I.Q…. sometimes you would have to be vocal on how to set up good spacing on the court. ( TEAM GENERAL)

  5. I promise since I started implementing all the stuff brudda done broke down about ways to find out how to get to the point where no matter what it's not that can be done it took me all this time to reach the level of being able to get to my spots and capitalize now mfs think we living in a parallel universe 😂

  6. i think you become effortless when the mouvement you do is mouvement you do so much time in practice and game that become effortless

  7. There’s 3 things that are stopping me from actually using my potential and actually doing it #1 I do t know how to /when to use a basketball move in. A game for example I don’t know when’s the right time to actually use between the legs the defenders just get an easy still #2 translation into basketball games I don’t know how to translate the practice to games #3 I don’t have confidence whenever I. I am playing/hooping I be so confident when I am practicing by my self but as soon as I am doing 1v1 2v2 and in games I just don’t know what to do I have such less confidence in basketball game that whenever my teammates are about to to pass the ball I look away and just never want the ball for some reason because of the first 2 situations which affect me plus I am slow and have no strength to shoot but I already know what to do for it but this just stresses me out so much if anyone has any videos/any help in the comment it will be very appreciated thank you very much😊

  8. im 15 playing 17u on the new balance circuit and my effortless is cross jab charge at the rim and try to dunk it. been working so far
