JJ and all the fans know that D’Lo is big x-factor for this team’s success. He raises the floor of this team with his offense. He’ll never be a good defensive player and part of it is him giving a better effort, but also hopefully JJ can scheme our defense in a way to better make up for the weaker perimeter defense.

Honestly hoping that he just boosts his trade value by having a good first half of the season. Most of the time he doesn’t show up in important games, which is most crucial for this team. Hopefully he will not check out mentally when he can’t get his shot to fall like he would last season. At the end of the day, I just feel like we aren’t going far with Dlo as our starting point guard with our current team. Hope I am proved wrong though.

D’Lo is a big time communicator, so communicating with him a lot is going to help downstream as he can communicate to all the other teammates better.
This is something Ham didn’t/wouldn’t do, and the biggest sign he isn’t fit to be a head coach in this league. If you aren’t communicating with your point guard then you aren’t putting your team in the best position to succeed.

Personally, I think the best way to grow DLo’s game was by getting rid of Ham. The whole not starting coming off the bench shit last season was criminal on Hams part. I expect DLo to come out rejuvenated and have a great season. I think JJ is putting that in his head now.
