Bouyea was definitely not the right option to occupy a two-way contract spot as Spurs has already many options on the backcourt (CP3, Tre Jones, Stephon Castle, Devin Vassel, Malaki Branham and Blake Wesley). The remaining two-way contract should be used to backup the front court. No way to find a good substitute center for Wemby except through a trade. But I think that there won't be any trade for the Spurs before the first game because the Spurs still don't need to get results (it is still a year of progressions, of experiences,…).
Juan Nunez won't play for the Spurs till 2027 if at all. I feel we're still building around Wemby and cast for the long foreseeable future. Not rushing to add mediocrity. While gathering valuable trade assets is still the plan for the front office.

IMO Bouyea could play in the NBA (from the bench) and not just G League and SL. He's not bad… But yeah Spurs have already to much Guards.
I hope he catches on with another team. I liked his game but the numbers were a problem. I like Minux.
