Man if this isn’t the most emotionally complicated game in NBA history for me haha.
I grew up in Utah as a huge Jazz fan. Then moved to Chicago as an adult and became a Bulls fan. When Rudy and Mike got traded to the Wolves amidst the Jazz blowup, I became a Wolves fan. All of that coupled with the undeniably compelling story and human that is Derrick Rose, I love and hate to see this so much haha. Love it, but wish it would have happened to another team.
It was the same thing with Kobe’s last fucking game too! He dropped 60 on the Jazz in his last ever NBA game. It’s aboslutely iconic and a piece of NBA history. But when LeBron has his last great game like 20 years from now, I hope to god it’s against anyone other than the Jazz.
