[The Athletic] NEWS: ESPN has parted ways with NBA senior writer Zach Lowe as part of the network’s continuing layoffs, sources tell @AndrewMarchand. Lowe’s salary, which was over seven figures annually, was the biggest factor in ESPN’s decision.

One of the last decent analyst at ESPN. Also one of the last guys that could fairly accurately talk Pacer ball. He was pretty much the last bit of ESPN media I consumed with the Lowe post… Oh well outside of a PTI every so often I guess I’m pretty well done with that 4 letter media company.
Does anyone know of anyone else in the ESPN sphere that gives some light and time to the small markets?
Other than games, I don’t watch ESPN anymore. They are a shell of their former greatness.
