Oh now the Markelle stans want to have a nuanced conversation about efficiency lol what an epic flip flop. Where was the need for context when you all were talking Markelle's per 36 numbers in favor of benching Cole Anthony two off seasons ago?
Look up stats by month for Cole, Paolo and Franz last season and then lookup Orlando Magic record by month and then give me the context and nuance around that?
Cole CARRIED in a 14-5 record against a tough schedule and you guys were a mediocre 33-30 the rest of the way against a very mid strength of schedule. You couldn't even get to a winning record in February without Cole saving the day against New York, Chicago, and Cleveland and all your wins in March are against tanking teams lol. Even January looks so much worse without Cole carrying in the New York and Denver games.
BTW Cole Anthony was more efficient with Joe Ingles and Moritz Wagner than Kobe was with Smush Parker and Lamar Odom
