I think you are on to something. I have seen some videos of him playing overseas. I agree, he has the potential to make an impact on the team. Hopefully Thibs can remove the blinders off and give him an opportunity to show his talent.
@knicksdigest. I'm glad someone else is seeing what I see. I've watched many videos of Hukporti playing, and I see shades of Pat Ewing and Hakeem in his game. This means he has skills to make him an impact player. Too many Knick channels are sleeping heavily on this man. He's far better than Robinson on offense, and about as good on defense. While Robinson mainly just gets a lob and dunks on people (which Hukporti can also do), Hukporti has post moves, a fade-away jumper, and other offensive moves around the basket. I've even seen him hit a 3 pointer!
People keep thinking the Knicks are in such bad shape at the center position. I keep telling them to open their eyes and see Hukporti. Have no fear, Hukporti's here!
