The Boston Celtics made an interesting signing recently when they picked up Lonnie Walker. Even though it was only on a minimum deal I think Lonnie Walker was an underrated pickup.     I am not sure about players that become journeyman! But sometimes playing on a contender helps guys focus on their strengths and weaknesses! We will see!

    Lonnie Walker is a great acquisition. Loonie should be in the rotation and should be in the rotation even when KP comes from back after injury. Mazulla should use Lonnie even during the playoffs, he should run a 9 man rotation instead of a 8 man rotation like he did last playoffs.

    A longer rotation keeps the players rested and keeps certain less susceptible to injuries by playing more minutes.

    Lonnie walker was a good pickup and the Cs should sign him to that 15th roster spot. With a caveat.

    1. Its a non-guaranteed vet min whose guarantee date is closer to the trade deadline.

    2. If lonne sucks, cut him and iit doesnt impact the tax. If hes good, the celtics go back to 14 by finding a team wth a TPE and open roster spot they can dump either jordan walsh or jaden springer on in exchange for a pick.

    Lonnie at his best though will just be a situational.sub for the celtics (10th-12th man). He will not break into the rotation and replace Sam or PP. He'll be used when someone is resting, injured or in garbage time. Still, at this point hes better than springer, baylor and walsh.
