The game was never worse than how it is for a few years now, next to no defense, stars that get voted by us to play in a game and really shit on us with how they perform in those games. Talk about motivation, the game is for us fans, if this doesn’t motivate you, you shit on us, the customer. Show me another sport where that is accepted.

It’s glaringly obvious that players today are better than they used to be. Yeah there’s no reason for Ant to blatantly call that out in condescending fashion, but the general idea of what he was trying to express is facts.
He’s smart enough to know the statement “everyone other than Michael Jordan had no skill” was not going to be received well though. And that statement taken at face value is obviously false as well
